Sears Tower Unveils 103rd Floor Glass Balconies
“The balconies are suspended 1,353 feet in the air and jut out four feet from the building’s 103rd floor Skydeck. Their transparent walls, floor and ceiling leave visitors with the impression they’re floating over the city.” (via The Associated Press)
As cool as this is, I think I’d have a panic attack just trying to step out onto it!
Since we got our new blender summer shakes & smoothies have been all rage in our house. This morning’s smoothie was particularly delish…
Blend it up and enjoy!
Well our 4th weekend was just what we needed, especially Murray! It’s always great to get out of the city.
That’s right, a crater on the moon will be designated in memoriam of the legendary “Moonwalker.”
According to the Lunar Republic Society, the crater, previously designated as Posidonius J, is located in the Moon’s Lake of Dreams (Lacus Somniorum). It measures approximately 22 kilometers (about 13.5 miles) in diameter, and is located adjacent to a 1,200-acre parcel owned by Michael Jackson in the Lake of Dreams.
The moon has always been symbolic throughout Michael’s life. In fact, did you know Mr. Jackson was among the largest private owners of Lunar property?
Of course here on Earth, we will always remember Michael for his trademark “moonwalk” dance move.(via)
Instant nerdy-anything reblog for Beckman
Sweet mercy. Check out this hilarious collection of e-mails that this guy sends to people who post classified ads. His goal is solely to mess with them, confuse them, and/or piss them off. Too good. (via Mutt’s Blog)
Anyone having a party soon?
So ready to get away this weekend.

Happy almost July 4th Weekend!!!
Mission Accomplished
4th of July Weekend for the Beckmans (Murray too, of course): Relaxing in the middle of Pennsyl-tucky with Gramps, Aimee, Reagan, Mattie, and Pauliu. Golf, beers, fireworks, frozen margaritas, cornhole, beers, bonfires, wine, grilling out, scotch, poker, hangovers and good times! Can’t wait to kick it in the country!
In honor of Francesca Louise’s birthday, I think it’s only fitting to revisit the interpretive dance she performed for us at Coney Island last year.
